In January 2025, ThyssenKrupp Steel presented its latest innovation in sustainable building materials at the BAU in Munich: bluemint steel. This new product line is specifically designed for multi-storey and industrial buildings, combining high aesthetic value with reduced carbon emissions. In addition to bluemint, thyssenkrupp is also highlighting other advanced products such as organic copper-coated steel panels and ZM Ecoprotect anti-corrosion solutions, both of which are in line with the company’s vision of low-carbon, high-performance structural steel.
